Toanche Dwelling - Geomagnetic Bilocation Index cs

Anyone paying attention during the last couple years is already well-versed in the work of Toanche Dwelling (the main field-recording project of Toronto area's Barrett Lediard) and is likely awaiting the next release with great anticipation. Thankfully, we are blessed here with a full 6 tracks of nuanced texture. Lediard has developed an approach to fieldwork that is uniquely his own and Geomagnetic Bilocation Index is further proof of this. Site specific field recordings, tape saturation, and layered compositions are several qualities that outline the Toanche Dwelling sound. These vignettes are transportive yet leave much to the imagination. We are given scraps of a map to reassemble without knowing the end destination, but they are perfect keepsakes for the journey.
